TP-Link has announced its first consumer hardware aimed at Wi-Fi 8, led by the Archer 8 Ultra tri-band router. According to The Verge, the company unveiled the Archer 8 Ultra and the Deco 8 Ultra mesh system at IFA 2026, using the upcoming IEEE 802.11bn standard. Tom's Hardware separately reports that TP-Link had previewed the Wi-Fi 8 family earlier this year and has now put a September 30 date on the Archer 8 Ultra BN19000.
